The Tiny House Company is based in Wakefield, Nelson. We aim to use locally sourced materials where available and are committed to building quality Tiny Homes at affordable prices for our customers. Simon whittaker

I have 30+ years of a wide range of building experience from bespoke New Builds to smaller joinery projects. I enjoy a challenge and working with people to achieve their goals. There is a real demand for these small homes in terms of their affordability and versatility. We are able to offer ‘bite size buildings’ to cater for anything you can dream up, be it a tiny home fully self-contained and off the grid, to a studio for working from home. We can work with you to give you the space you desire.

My interests are Knife making, mountain biking, tramping. Previously I volunteered in Search and Rescue.

Arron Whittaker

I am currently completing a building apprenticeship.

It was my idea to start this business. I have been looking at the housing market and watching the tiny home popularity grow and feel it’s the way the future is going. I am very motivated and enthusiastic about building a tiny house company that is known and trusted for its quality workmanship. We are good at thinking ‘outside the box’ to solve challenges and turn people’s dreams into reality. We are a hardworking and honest team and we look forward to building you a tiny home you will love.
